Cosmic Colors Technique Sheet

Create this pretty project in just a few simple steps using Crafter's Workshop stencils and Glassline paints! If cutting circles is a challenge, this design can be just as easily created using square glass bases.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut a 9.5" round circle from the Light Blue Transparent sheet glass blank using a Precision Circle Cutter, a Pistol Grip Glass Cutter, and Running Pliers.

2. Light spritz the Light Blue project base with hairspray to give the surface tackiness.

3. Position the Cosmic Swirl stencil onto the glass base.

4. Sponge a mix of Pink Glassline paint and Purple Glassline paint onto the open design areas. Once dry, repeat again to achieve 2 coats of color. Let dry.

5. Once dry, gently remove stencil.

6. If needed, use a toothpick to touch up any design areas by scratching off excess paint.

7. Cap project with a 10" clear circle.

8. Full fuse using the 6-segment firing schedule.

9. Once fired, slump project in the Soup Bowl Mold.
