If cutting circles is a challenge, this design can be just as easily created using square glass bases. MATERIALS 9599 Hydra Art Sponge GBC-10-W01 10 In. Circle Clear Transparent GBS12-132 Light Blue Glass Transparent Blank GL12 Pink Glassline Pen GL14 Purple Glassline Pen SM9824 Soup Bowl Mold ST210 Precision Circle Cutter ST340 1" Running Pliers ST352 Pistol Grip Glass Cutter ST540 Thinfire Paper TCW156 Cosmic Swirl - 12" x 12" Template SUPPLIES Hairspray Toothpick Water Click on the item numbers to see more about the products in this technique sheet, and to order the items for your project. | | INSTRUCTIONS 1. Cut a 9.5" round circle from the Light Blue Transparent sheet glass blank using a Precision Circle Cutter, a Pistol Grip Glass Cutter, and Running Pliers. TIP: For an easy tutorial on how to cut glass circles, check out our technique video! 2. Light spritz the Light Blue project base with hairspray to give the surface tackiness. 3. Position the Cosmic Swirl stencil onto the glass base. 4. Sponge a mix of Pink Glassline paint and Purple Glassline paint onto the open design areas. Once dry, repeat again to achieve 2 coats of color. Let dry. 5. Once dry, gently remove stencil. 6. If needed, use a toothpick to touch up any design areas by scratching off excess paint. 7. Cap project with a 10" clear circle. 8. Full fuse using the 6-segment firing schedule. 9.
