Easter Egg Platter
Turning a platter into an Easter Egg is easy and fun!  Each customer can choose their own design and colors to individualize their piece.  Give your customer tape and stickers to help them create cool designs on their Easter Egg Platter.

Daily Bread Combo
This is a small serving tray and bowl that can be used for dips and snacks.  Melanie loves to put Bible verses on things but also loves leopard and zebra stripes together.  She found the perfect combo with her Daily Bread Platter that walks on the wild side!

Feathered Bead
Marla James created this design using a technique call feathering.  Apply a slightly heavy amount of paint to the piece, then drag a feather through the paint to create each brush stroke.

Dots and Swirls
Marla used Duncan Concepts to painted dots and swirls all over each piece that continue onto the back.  Painting on both sides of your beads allows either side to be the focal point.

Criss Cross Bead
Judith uses beads like this one as centerpieces for her hand-woven necklaces.  She glazed and fired the piece before adding fine silver and firing it again.

Toasty
Jenn got a little silly with this teapot shaped like a Toaster.  She painted it to look like an authentic 50's Sunbeam toaster!  Isn't that a swell idea!

Lovely Footprint Platter
Sandy Schmick painted her 6-year old daughter's feet and pressed them onto the #279 Platter.  Then she decorated the footprints with a wash of color on the background and some black outlines and details.  She finished the piece with a clear coat of overglaze and fired!  You can create the same lovely platter with hand prints.

Bathroom Tile
Customize your bathroom with a pic of your own family on a tile!

Pumpkin Butt
Tired of doing hand prints and footprints - try a butt-print!  If your customers are daring enough this can make quite a humorous conversation piece!  Can you imagine serving your guests on this platter!  You can tell them your child turns into a pumpkin at midnight and now you have proof!  Very cute!

Baby Frame
We flipped the #1 Dad Tag-along upside down to get the perfect size square for the baby blocks!  Then, layer the baby blocks with the 3/4 letters to spell out your message!  This idea can be adapted to fit almost any theme!

Family Circle Platter
Blanca Sherwin made a family plate for Mother's Day.  Each section includes a son or daughter with their spouse and children (each personalized) and in the the middle Grammy and Grandad.

Creative Majolica
Using the majolica technique, Ann Gerhardt painted this #1000 Big Ol' Tub, clear glazed it and fired to cone 06.

Quilted Glass
Anne Gerhardt used System 96 opaque glass cut into triangles to create this quilt-like design.  She fused the pieces into a flat circle, then slumped over a drape mold.

Happy Everything
Mary Clay Brooks created this platter to inspire the fun in everything that we do and to remind us to celebrate each day as if it were a holiday!

A Fish Tale
The design is one I painted in the same technique as if your were doing a watercolor painting using layers of color.  It looks quite pretty when serving fresh grilled salmon.  I glazed the plate first with 3 coats of white and then let it dry for a day.  Then, I sketch the design in with a pencil and work from the inside out to the rim starting with the lightest colors first and shading to the dark last.

Happy Fall Y'all
The Happy Fall Y'all Plate is the perfect addition to your Fall collection.  This piece will take you throughout the entire Fall season.

Dog Bowl
This is the inside of the Play, Eat, Sleep, Bark Square Dog Bowl.  Each side has a big different colored bone and a word - Play, Eat, Sleep, Bark.  I have been making this dog design for an upcoming "Woofstock 2009" in Decatur, IL.  I used lots of bright colors and added detail with the black detail writer.

It's a Bug's Life
Nicole was inspired by the outdoors when she created this bug-themed water bucket.  Great for use indoors or out.  Try making the bugs out of fingerprints for an easy kid's project!

Holy Cow!
Jessica Byrnes painted this platter as a request from a woman who loves Cows and wanted her grandchildren in the picture!

Two Paws Up Pet Bowls
I have my customers email me photos of their pets, and I paint the pet's portrait on their very own bowl!  Personalized pet bowls make a great gift for the holidays!

Mother's Day
A daddy asked me if I could do a plate with his 5 year old's hand print for his wife as a gift for Mother's Day.  He also wanted to incorporate their favorite book quote.  To make it more personal, I had the little boy paint TO MOMMY LOVE CADEN (very risky, I must say :))  With the help of the dad providing colors and pictures of his wife's kitchen decor, I finished it off with swirls and a bright red border to tie everything together.

Expanded Home
We've expanded our home by six feet!  Being a twin mom myself I did this as a gift for a triplet mom friend of mine!

Baby Ornaments
These ornament ideas are great for Baby's first Christmas!  Newborn''s feet fit perfectly on the sphere to create a memory that will be treasured for years to come!  These precious ornaments make great family heirlooms!

Family Portrait Platter
This is from our Family Portrait Platter Line.  I created it as a sample for an upcoming Fall Issue of Good Housekeeping magazine.

Vineyard Platter
This is one of the designs that I sell to wineries and gift shops.  It is my "Vineyard Design".  I sketch the bottle and glass lightly with pencil to ensure placement and balance, then I paint away.

Freddie's Cupcake Plate
When one Freddie the Dragon didn't seem like enough we added two more to complete this creative cupcake plate!  All 3 dragons are fused to the top and bottom plates for a FUN party!!

Beach Ornaments
This was a set of beach themed Christmas Ornaments created by a class for their school's annual auction.  But this would make a great camp project or Christmas workshop.  Start by mixing sand with underglaze.  Then "painting" it on the ornaments.  While the top dries, paint the Tag-Alongs in fun colors.  Make sure to get 3 good coats of paint because you will not glaze  these pieces.  Paint the back of the ornament with the rest of the sand and let it dry.

Mosaic Madness
To recreate this mosaic project on a large or small scale, hand paint ceramic pieces with Duncan Concepts and glaze with Pure Brilliance Clear Dipping Glaze and fire to cone 06.  Next, break pieces with a hammer and arrange them in a colorful design on a waterproof cement board.   Glue pieces in place with E-6000 adhesive.  Fill in the gaps with sand grout.  Cut, paint, and assemble a wood frame for hanging.

Lollipop Tree
Use the #2034 Lighted Christmas Tree to create this year-round Lollipop display!  Be sure to blow the holes clear of paint or glaze to ensure that the suckers will fit.  Joan Clasbey sells each sucker for $0.50 which keeps her change drawer supplied.  She also uses the Lollipop tree as a sample during the Christmas season for those who don't want the traditional Christmas tree green.

Super Mug
I just love this mug that my daughter painted.  It was inspired by an Aboriginal art calendar, and it gets copied all the time.  - Gini McNair

Copy Cat
I love cats and apparently so do my customers as this has been copied at least 6 times! - Gini McNair

Married-tini
I love, love, love this new shape!  I painted these as gifts for my daughter's bridesmaids. - Gini McNair

Fat Cat Platter
This tray inspires so many great designs.  The rim is so fun to decorate! - Gini McNair

Pear Pitcher
I love to paint pitchers.  They are such a useful item.  This colorful pear design has been copied many times. -Gini McNair

Watering Can
This adorable watering can was created by one of our regular customers.  We featured it in our e-mail newsletter as the project of the month and awarded her a prize.  I hope you enjoy it's cheerful summer vibe as much as we do!  - Karen Rifai

Hoppy Platter
A friend needed a unique baby gift.  I suggested doing a baby plate.  I had a round bisque here, but thought the square would be way more unique.  This is the final product! - Mary Clay Brooks

Brooklyn Bridge
This artwork was inspired by the artist's recent trip to NY.  "At sunset, you can view the vivid colors imprinted on the East River and reflections on the bridge.  I used the black and white picture from my trip and added unrealistic colors and lines to the bridge, building and water to portray the metropolitan life in New York.  By using the round bisque bowl, it almost illustrates this unreal scene from a fish-eye lense camera!  If you also notice, there are two transparent / colorless towers

Teenage Mutant Ninja Gymnast
Teenage Mutant Ninja Gymnast was created from a broken gymnast & turtle (not broken on purpose).  I ground them down to fit better and used clay to put them together.  They were fired to cone 04, then painted, glazed and fired to cone 06.  The scariest thing is that I even thought about this, much less made it.  -Marc Linsey

Sake Set
This is my favorite Saki Set you have.  Nice feel, comfortable, and this time the Courtyard glaze looked like wood. - Cheryl Anne Day-Swallow

Fountain Mug
I just like the way the glaze runs down the mug.  It has a nice feel and I love the handle; nice to hold onto. - Cheryl Anne Day-Swallow
