The Base Stand will hold pieces around ¼" in thickness, and have measured that it will hold up to 18" in height, and about 4 pounds in weight. Smallest size it will hold is 5" wide. Will hold round pieces. Round pieces most be 5" wide at ¾" into the edge. No guarantee it will hold any pieces of any size. Balance and weight distribution may play a factor to stands ability to hold piece from the very bottom.
