Start out using the Mayco Cactus Flower Elements Glaze (EL143). Take the liner brush and outline around the stem of the pumpkin. Apply 2 coats outlining around the stem.
Then take the fan brush and paint the entire pumpkin with 2-3 coats of EL143 Cactus Flower. Make sure to apply even coats with a good amount of paint on the brush. Let the pumpkin dry for a few minutes. It helps to brush in the same direction all over the pumpkin.
Using the Small/Medium Square Shader Brush, paint 2 coats of SC041 Brown Cow on the stem.
While the paint is still damp on the stem, take the liner brush and add SC014 Java Bean and SC039 Army Surplus to create wood grain like brush strokes all over the stem. These accents give the stem more color, texture, and dimension. You can add a few brush strokes of the SC041 Brown Cow if needed. Let Dry.
Let your pumpkin dry completely. No need to clear glaze. Fire to Cone 06 and enjoy!
