This color will not be food safe by itself so make sure to use with other Terra Bella Glazes. Emerald does shine if you apply thick layers. This Terra Bella glaze is an Aventurina Reactive Glaze and will flow and create beautiful drips and surprising effects. It is recommended to use 1-2 coats only. This color was created to enhance, change, and react over or under the rest of the Terra Bella Glazes. Terra Bella Specialty Glazes replicate the high fire pottery look with low fire temperature cone 06. Each of these colors fire to a unique effect. Some are multi-tone with Matte/Satin shine, while others fire to a high gloss shine and then some have speckles. Endless color combinations can be achieved layering these glazes. Use on low-fire clay bodies only. Mix well and apply 2-3 coats (with the exception of the enhancing colors or the Aventurinas). Terra Bella Glazes cannot be dipped in clear glaze. Terra Bella Ceramic Glazes are non-toxic and available in 4 oz. jars and 16 oz. bottles. Safe for Food Containers.
