"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are."
Chris started at BI as a Polymedia Creatologist in August 2007. Now he’s our resident Systems Nerd. He can sometimes appear to fix computers just by standing next to them—he’s that good. Fun Fact: He was actually born on Christopher Street in Charleston, WV, killed him a bear when he was only three, and graduated from West Virginia University Institute of Technology. (Home of the “old man” building) Since college, he has worked as a rock climbing guide, dish dog, line cook, graphic designer, and whitewater photographer.
After relocating to Belmont, Chris sent out dozens of resumes. He finally received a static filled voicemail from a guy at Disc Imports about a design job. When he came in for the interview, he learned the actual name of our company. DJ was super impressed by Chris’ massive beard, and decided to give him the job.
Chris’s favorite bisque piece is the Coffee Pot Mug because...COFFEE! On any given morning, you’ll find him guzzling coffee at his standing desk. Once he’s had enough coffee, his favorite thing about BI is that every day is a new adventure.
Chris is passionate about anything that makes the world a better place. His favorite place is The White Mountains. If Chris had 3 wishes, he would wish for the end of illness and disease, for all people to live by the golden rule, and that batteries would never die. Chris’ personal mantra is “Keep calm and carry on.”
