Since we opened our doors in 1999, our company has been associated with innovation - in our shapes, in our approach to business and in our approach to how we care for our customers. Since that time, the industry has evolved. Our customers are more knowledgeable and savvy than ever before. A clay body that is compatible with all major glazes is not just a good idea, it is vital. In order for our industry to continue to evolve things can't stay the same. That's why we have dedicated much time and energy to creating the next generation of bisque. Blue Label Bisque Frequently Asked Questions What does Blue Label mean? Blue Label means that our newest clay formulation has been officially stamped with a seal that represents the quality, strength, and beauty of our next generation of bisque. Blue Label is a proven formula to which we did not have access to until recently. It is a formula that you have likely received if you have ordered within the last year. With which glazes is Blue Label Compatible? Blue Label has been successfully tested with the major non-toxic non- leaded glazes on the market - Duncan Pure Brilliance, Mayco NT Clear One and Gare Dazzle Dip. How is the clay body different? Blue Label Bisque is three times stronger than our previous clay body. Plus it features increased durability, higher thermal shock capacity, improved surface tension for added glaze strength and glaze compatibility. Is the price different? Blue Label does not come with a higher price tag. BI will continue to offer the same great prices that we have always provided our customers. What shapes are available in Blue Label? Current stock levels indicate that 70% of our inventory is in the Blue Label formulation. This percentage will steadily increase in the coming months. Many of our most popular items including (but not limited to) dinnerware, mugs, bowls and plaques are currently available in the Blue Label. We began marking boxes with the stamp in June though we've actually been selling the product since October. As we increase our stock levels in Blue Label, you will begin to receive more boxes with the stamp. The clay formulation for bisque shapes made in Italy has not changed. How do I order Blue Label? If you have placed an order within the last year, it's very likely you've already received an unstamped Blue Label item. If you experienced issues with any bisque in the past and just want to use Blue Label we can certainly accommodate! Simply contact us and we will indicate your preference in our records. If an item that you request is not available in Blue Label we will not send that item to you. What does the 100% No Hassle Guarantee cover? We want you to be successful and happy with our products and our company! |
