Studio owners can use this project as a workshop in their studio or as a take-home kit. Ammie will explain her best painting tips, including how to layer Mayco Stroke and Coat with Mayco Elements, how to create interesting brushstrokes, and additional glaze combinations.

This project is easy to teach to customers or large groups, and makes a fun sample to add to your studio displays. Aline will share how to layer different types of Colorobbia glazes and use transfer paper to create beautiful unique designs on bisque. We will also take notes on different steps so you can teach classes so your customers can create beautiful and elegant projects they’ll love to display in their homes! You will need a pottery item, Terra Bella colors, brushes, transfer paper, scissors, water, and sponge.
Learn some fun tips and techniques to create a wonderful and very popular project that your customers will love to display in their homes! Aline will share how to layer different types of Colorobbia Terra Bella specialty glazes and Bellisimo glazes to create a fun and festive pumpkin on pottery. We will also take notes on different steps so you can recreate and teach classes. You will need a pottery item, Terra Bella colors, brushes, sticky contact paper, scissors, pencil, and water.
This class is intended to help studio owners build strong businesses through the implementation of industry best practices. Content will include addressing common questions regarding glazes and the firing process with answers from suppliers and manufacturers, with the goal of providing Industry Best Standards. Glaze application: specialty vs. regular glazes; food safety: nontoxic vs. food safe; firing schedules (Cones 06, 6, and 04 and overglazes like gold and mother-of-pearl) and how they affect operations; clay bodies (earthenware vs. stoneware); causes and repairs of common issues will all be covered.
